and bedding household and kitchen furniture
one house of tobacco one negro Boy charles twelve
years old and nine years to serve one negro girl
named caroline four years to serve all and
singular which said goods and chattels are
now remaining in my possession  To Have and
to hold all and singular the said property
above described and other the premises above
bargained and sold or meant mentioned and
intended so to be to the said Walter Griffith his
executors administrators and assigns forever and
I the said John G. Warfield for myself my heirs
executors and administrators all and singular
the said goods and chattels and other
the premises unto the said Walter Griffith
his executors administrators and assigns
against me the said John G. Warfield my
administrators and against all and every
other person or persons whatsoever shall and
will warrant and forever defend by these
presents of all and singular which said
goods and chattels and other the premises
I the said John G. Warfield have put the
said Walter Griffith in full possession by
delivering to him the said Walter Griffith one
b^a^y gelding at the sealing and delivering of
these presents in the name of the name
of the whole premises hereby bargained
and sold or meant mentioned and intended
to be so unto him the said Walter
Griffith as aforesaid.  In witness whereof
the said John G. Warfield hath hereunto
set his hand and seal the twenty
first day of Febuary 1856
signed sealed and delivered
       in the presence of        John G. Warfield (seal)
sam.l F. Simmons

state of Maryland Howard County to wit
    on this 21.st day of febuary 1856 before the
subscriber a justice of the peace in and
for the county aforesaid personally
appears John G. Warfield and acknowledged
the foregoing Instrument of
writing to be his act and deed according
to the true intent ^purport^ and meaning
