(ii) 1 shall be a private citizen with special knowledge or expertise
relating to services to individuals with disabilities;
(iii) 1 shall be from the business community;
(iv) 2 shall be parents of children with disabilities; and
(v) 2 shall be from private agencies providing services to
individuals with disabilities.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect October 1, 2000.

AN ACT concerning
Maryland Aviation Administration - Financial Assistance to for Public Use
Airports
FOR the purpose of authorizing the Maryland Aviation Administration to grant or
lend money to for certain public use airports under certain circumstances;
requiring the Administration to give priority to publicly owned airports when
awarding certain grants and loans; and generally relating to the granting and
lending of money by the Maryland Aviation Administration for the benefit of
public use airports.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Transportation
5-421.
(A) With the approval of the Secretary, the Administration may grant or lend
money to:
(1) [any] ANY political subdivision or any authority created under State
law to assist in the establishment or operation of an airport that is or is to be owned
or controlled wholly or in part by the political subdivision or authority[.]; OR
