(a)     The Commission shall meet at the times and places that it determines.

(b)     A member of the Commission or a subcommittee of the Commission:

(1)     May not receive compensation; but

(2)     Is entitled to reimbursement for expenses under the Standard State
Travel Regulations, as provided in the State budget.

(c)     The Department shall provide a staff to the Commission as needed.]

The Commission shall:

(1)     Investigate and collect information that relates to the economic, fiscal,
and social effects of amateur and professional sports franchises in the State;

(2)     Encourage the promotion and development of amateur and professional
sports in the State;

(3)     Advise the Secretary on actions and incentives that may carry out the
Commission's duties; and

(4)     Submit an annual report of its activities to the Governor, the Maryland
Economic Development Commission, the Secretary and, subject to § 2-1312 of the State
Government Article, the General Assembly.]

Article - Business Regulation

11-904.

(a)     The Jockey Fund shall be managed by a Board of Directors.

(b)     The Board of Directors of the Jockey Fund consists of [3 members, appointed
by the Secretary] THE MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION.

(d)     While on the Board, each Director shall post any bond that the Secretary
requires.
