34 his Executors administrators and assigns forever Provided always and it is the true intent and meaning of these presents and of the said parties hereunto that if the same William Reagan shall on or before the first day of July next ensuing the date hereof pay and satisfy unto the said Levin Moore the sum of three Hundred and Eighty dollars with Interest thereon in current money it being the ballance of a note of hand due from said Reagan to said Moore for the purchase of same boat or Schooner then and from thenceforth these presents and every matter and thing therein contained shall cease and be utterly null and do utterly null and void any thing herein contained to the contrary thereof in any wise not withstanding In testimony whereof the said William Reagan hath hereto set his name & affixed his seal the twelfth day of January Eighteen Hundred & forty three Signed sealed and his Delivered in pressence of William + Reagan (seal) John G. Abbott mark Dorchester County Sct On this 12th day of January anno Domi 1843 then came William Reagan before me a Justice of the peace in and for said County and acknowledged the within mortgage bill of sale to be his act and deed according to the purport true intent and meaning of the same and the act of assembly in such cases made and provided acknowledged before John G Abbott Henry Page and Be it remembered that the following Anne Buyers bill of sale was recorded on 13 Jany Ex.d from anno domini 1843 to wit W.m S Byers This Indenture made this 12th Jany 1843 by and betwene William S Byers of Dorchester county in the state of maryland of the one part and Henry Page and Ann M Byers of the said county and state of the other part whereas William S Byers is justly indebted to Henry Page in the sum of five hundred and eighty eight dollars and sixty cents for money advanced by Henry page to sundry persons and also for profesional securities of the said William S Byers as guardian for John E Stephens and also as guardian for Benjamin Stepens And whereas the said William S Byers is anxious to secure in the first place the said Henry Page |
