300. and every of them by these presents hath granted, bargained & sold and by these presents doth grant, bargain & sell unto the said Samuel Corkran and William Rea their heirs, executors, administrators & assigns all and singular the Goods, furniture and Household Stuff, herein after particularly mentioned and expressed (that is to say) one Cow, five Beds, Bedsteads and furniture, and one other Bed, one Side Board, one Mahogany dining Table, one pine ditto, and one Breakfast pine ditto, two looking Glasses, one large and one small, one Bureau, one Parlour and one tin plate Stove, one and a half dozen Chairs, one water Table and two wash Stands, one new and two old Carpets, shopcases and stock of Milinary together with all the balance of the Household and Kitchen furniture now standing and being on the Premises occupied by the said William W. Littleton. To have and to hold all and singular the said Goods and chattels &c herein before granted, bargained and sold or mentioned or intended so to be unto the said Samuel Corkran and William Rea their Executors, administrators ad assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the said Samuel Corkran and William Rea their Executors, administrators & Assigns forever: Provided always and these presents are upon this Condition that if the said William W. Littleton, his Executors or administrators shall and do well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said William B. Dail, his Executors, administrators or assigns the full sum of one hundred and fifty dollars current money with legal interest for the same on or before the first day of April next then and in such case these presents and every matter and thing therein contained shall cease, determine and be utterly void to all intents & purposes any thing herein contained to the contrary thereof in anywise notwithstanding. In Witness whereof I have hereto set my name and seal affixed the date within named. Signed, sealed & delivered in the presence of William W. Littleton (seal) W.m W. LeCompte William Wingate Maryland, Dorchester County, to wit: On the 27.th day of May in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred & forty five then came before me the undersigned a Justice of the Peace in and for said county William W. Littleton and acknowledged the within and aforegoing Mortgage Bills sales to be his Act and deed according to the purport, true intent and meaning of the same & the Acts of Assembly in such case made provided. And I further Certify that I am satisfied of my own personal knowledge that William W. Littleton the person making said Acknowledgment is the same identical person named and described in the within Bill of Sales Acknowledged before W.m W. LeCompte J. P. |
