Stewart (Seal) Dorchester County, To wit: Be it remembered that on this 29.th day of April in the year of Our Lord eighteen hundred and forty five personally appeared Thomas Breerwood subscribing Witness to the above Bond before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace of the State of Maryland for Dorchester County aforesaid and made Oath on the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God that he did see William Jackson, William S Jackson and James A. Stewart obligors of the said Bond sign, seal and deliver the said Bond as their respective Act and deed and that he the said Thomas Breerwood did subscribe his name as a Witness thereto Sworn before Robert Bell May 1 1845 The within Bond and security appeared by me Brice J Goldsborough Enrolled in Liber T. H. H. N.o 2 folio 1 one of the record Books containing Bonds in the Registers of Wills office for Dorchester County May 29 1845 Certified by Tho H. Hicks Reg.r Samuel Corkran & Be it remembered that the following Mortgage Bills William Rea of Sale was recorded on the 29.th day of May 1845, from Ex.d To wit: William W. Littleton This Indenture made this 27.th day of May in the year of Our Lord Eighteen hundred and forty five between William W. Littleton of the Town of Cambridge of the one part and Samuel Corkran & William Rea of the same place of the other part. Whereas the said William W. Littleton owes and stands justly indebted to William B. Dail in the just sum of one hundred and fifty dollars current Money on Bill obligatory dated this 22.d day of April Eighteen hundred and forty five with interest in which bill the said Samuel Corkran & William Rea are securities and to secure the said Samuel Corkran & William Rea against loss on account of said securityships the said William W. Littleton is willing to execute these presents: Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said William W. Littleton for and in consideration of the premises and for and in consideration of the sum of five dollars current money to him in hand paid by the said Samuel Corkran & William Rea at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the said William W. Littleton doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof and therefrom doth acquit, release, exonerate and forever discharge the said Samuel Corkran & William Rea their heirs, executors & administrators Deld W Rea 18 Novr 1846 |
