and for the county of Dorchester personally appears William Webb he being Known
to me to be the person who is named and described as and professing to be the party
granted to the foregoing indenture or instrument of writing and doth acknowledge the
said indenture or instrument of writing to be his act and deed for the intent and
purpose therein expressed and retained

Job Nutten          Be it remembered that the following bill of sale was recorded
Cyrus St Clair     1st may 1843 to wit      Know all men by these presents
Fee from paid      that I John Lee of Dorchester County in the state of maryland
John Lee   x.d      for and in consideration of the sum of Eleven dollars & fifty cents
current money pa.d by Cyrus Senclear & Jobobe Nutter of the same county and
state aforesd at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt
whereof I the said John Lee do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and
sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Cyrus
Sincleare and Jobe Nutter their executors administrators and assigns the following
property to wit one Horse cart and one cow all and singular of which goods
and chattles are now remaining in the hands of me the said Jno Lee for the
use of the said Cyrus Sinclare and Job Nutter To have and to hold all and
singular the said goods and chattles as aforesaid bargained and sold or mentioned
and intended so to be the said Cyrus Sinclare & Job Nutter heirs executors
administrators and assigns forever and I the said John Lee for my self my
heirs executors and administrators all and singular the said goods and
chattles unto Cyrus Sinclare and Job Nutter their Heirs executors administrators
& assigns and against the said John Lee his heirs executors and adminis.tr
and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and
will warrant and forever defend by these presents of all and singular which
said goods and chattles I the said John Lee have put the said Cyrus Sinclare
& Job Nutter in full possession by delivering to them the said Cyrus Sinclare &
Job Nutter one horse cart and one cow at the sealing and delivering of these
presents in the name of the whole property so as aforesaid bargained & sold
unto the said Cyrus Sinclare & Job Nutter aforesaid  In witness whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and seal this 28th day of april eighteen Hundred and
forty three

Dorchester County to wit      a Justice of the peace in and for the said county
& State Personally appeared John Lee and acknowledged the above bill of sale
