- modification to special exception requirements for
housing and related facilities for elderly and
handicapped persons as to demonstration of community
need, height and setback requirements

exempting existing structures and projects approved by
the Board of Appeals as of August 14, 1986, from
nonconforming use status

By amending the following sections of the Montgomery County
Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 59 of the Montgomery County Code:

Division 59-G-2 "Special Exceptions - Standards and

Requirements"
Section 59-G-2.35 "Housing and Related Facilities for

Elderly and Handicapped Persons"

Effective Date August 14, 1986.

exceptions does not, in effect, alter the nature of a
