   143                             March Court 1716
   Corpus pr Wm Ffrisby Sherf —    And A Decln being filed when
   Said writ Issued forth and a Copy thereof Sent therewith in ordr to
   be Served therewith according to Act of Assembly in Such Cases
   made was as folls. viz.t~ Kent County Maryland Ss John Kaisly of
   Kent County County in the Provicne of Maryland alis Dics John
   Caslif of Kent County Planter in ye Province abovesd was —
   Summoned to Answer unto Richard Davis of a plea that he
   render unto him ye full and Just Sume of Twelve hundred and
   fifty pounds of good Sound Marchantable leafe Tobacko &—
   Cask of ye value of five pounds four Shillings and Two pence
   Sterling money which he unjustly detains &ca And Whereupon
   the afd Richard by Thomas Bowne his attry Saith that whereas
   the afd John by his certain Bill obligatory which the Said John
   made Sealed with his Seale and as his deed to the Said Richd
   the Sixteenth day of June in the year of our Lord Christ Seven :
  :teen hundred and fifteen at Kent County afd within the Jurisdiciõn
   of this Court delivered hereinto Court brought Bound himselfe
   to pay or cause to be paid unto the afd Richard the afd Twelve
   hundred and fifty pounds of good Sound Merchantable leafe —
   Tobacko & Cask of the afd value of five pounds four Shillings
   and two pence Sterling money at or upon the tenth day of—
   October next Ensuing the date of the Said Bill Yet the afd John
   altho’ often required the afd twelve hundred and fifty pds
   of Tobacco to the afd Richard hitherto hath not rendered but~
   that to render the Said John hitherto hath denied and Yet~
   denys to ye damage of the Said Richard Tenn pounds Sterling-
   money and thereupon he brings Suite &ca. . . TBowne pr Qurr
   pls &ca John Doe & Richd Roe And the Said Plt prays that—
   the Said Deft~ to his decln afd may answer . And the Said Deft~
   being called came And at this Court the Same day above menti:
  :oned in his proper person appeared to the above accõn and —
   Saith that he Cannot gainsay the Accõn afd of him the Said Plt
   nor but that the writing obligatory above mentioned is his -
   Act and deed And is willing that Judgment Should be entred -
   for the Same and Cost accruing : Therefore it is Considered
