808 and Ireland Queen Defender of the Faith &c.a To Thomas Howell of Cæcill County Greeting Wee Comand you that all Excuses sett a part you be and appear before us in our high Court of Chancery to be held at the City of Annapolis the first Tuesday in March next to ans.r the BIll of Compl.t of Casp.r Hoodt of the Province of Pensilvania Merch.t against You in our said Court Exhibitted Nor may you hereof faile at your perrill Wittness our self at our City of Annapolis aforesaid the Twenty Eighth day of Jan.ry in the Tenth Year of our Reigne &c.a Annoq Dm 1711 Edw Benson Reg.r in Cha.ry On the back of which said Writt of Sup.a was thus written Kent County These may Certifye whom it may Concerne that I have been at the house of M.r David Young the place of the last abode of the within Mentioned Thomas Howell & have left a Copy of the within Mentioned & by the best Information of the Neighbourhood he hath been departed this province in order to goe for old England about Eight months since as wittness my hand this first day of March Anno 1711/12 James Harris Sher Kent Co And thô ^the said^ Casp.r Hoodt by his Solicitor is Ready to prosecute his Bill of Compl.t Yett the said Thomas Howell or any for him appears not nor is there any defence therein made |
