       publick Levy the 13.th of October 1709 did allow unto Col Dorsey
       for the Rent of one of the houses Twenty pounds sterling in the
       hands of the honble Samuel Young Esq publick treasurer of the
       Westerne Shore which order was by the said Col Dorsey Deivered
       M.r Samuel Norwood of Ann Arundell County to receive for Col.o
       Dorseys Use but as this Defend.t has been Informed the said Sam.l
       Norwood in favour of the Compl.t suffered the said order to be Dormant
       so that afterwards the Compl.t suffered the said order on applycation
       to the Generall Assembly got that sum of money allowed &
       paid to him on severall surmises and allegations he made to the
       house of Delegates this Defend.t then not apprized of the former
       order  And this Defend.t has heard that the said Bladen paid unto
       M.r John Brice Merchant Twenty two pounds sterl for and on the
       accountt of the purchase money afd and by the direction of the
       said Col Dorsey in favour of the Compl.t and fifty odd pounds
       more to Col Dorsey in his life time  And this Defend.t further saith
       that the Compl.t has Received of Col Dorsey in his life time sixty
       four pound nine shillings and two pence half penny sterl besides
       the sum of about Twenty five pounds sterl his share of his brother
       Edward Dorsey Jun.rs Estate and fifteen pound sterl the said Compl.t
       paid M.r Charles Carroll for a servant woman appraised in that
       Estate so that the Compl.ts Pretentions are altogether unjust &
       Vexatious this Defend.t having fully adm.rd the said Col Dorseys
       Estate unless severall goods and Chattells Comprized in a Certain Deed
       of Gift made by the said Col Dorsey some small time before he dyed
       to his Children of and Concerning which there is a Bill ^de^pending in this
       honble Court be adjudged assetts assetts in this Defendants hands and
       this Defend.t saith there are still severall Debts due from the said
       Col Dorseys Estate amounting to about two hundred pounds sterl
       besides Considerable Charges at Law and he not having received one
