758 day a Locust Post sett up marked with twelve Notches and told that that the partition Tree betwixt the Land of John Cooper and John fuller and further saith not Sworne to this 20.th day of Sep.r Anno 1711 before me M T Warde Talbott fs John Cooper of Talbott County Planter Aged about thirty years Concerning the bounds of a Tract of Land called Miles End saith that he hath heard severall persons say that second bounded Tree of a Tract of Land called Miles End did stand somewhere near John Kemps Landing and further saith that he this Depon.t did see a Gum Tree standing in the head of a Branch (at or near the place where there was this day a Locust Post sett up Marked with Twelve Notches) which Gum was Reputed the Tree from whence the Division Line between the Land of William Cooper and John Kemp did Runn and that he hath heard say that the said Gum did stand in or near the East Line which Runns from the second bounded Tree of the afd Land called Miles End And further saith not Sworne to this 20.th day of Sep.r 1711 before me M T Warde Talbott fs George Hadaway Sen.r of Talbott County aged about fifty five Three Years concerning the bounds of a Tract of Land called Miles End saith that above Twenty Years agoe he heard William Webb the son of Edmond Webb say that the second bounded Tree of the afd Land called Miles End (being a pine) did stand some where near Catherine Sextons Landing places this deponent further saith is the same which is now called John Kemps Landing and further saith not Sworne to this 20.th day of Sep.r Anno 1711 before me M T Warde |
