       Almighty God true and perfect Answer make to all and singular the
       Premises as if herein and hereby ^again^ Interrogated and Perticularly whether
       he did not make and drew the afd Sett of Bills of Exchange for
       Twenty pounds sterl payable to the said William Deceased  And
       whether he had not Notice of their Comeing in protested on what
       Consideration he did pass them as afd and whether he did not assigne
       over unto the said William in his life time the severall obligations
       in the Manner and afd and afterwards Refused to make any
       further or other assignment thereof how much money or Tobacco
       he owed the said William Deceased on the Settlement of Accounts
       Between them and for what Sum of Money or Tobacco it was he
       owed and Intended to Mortgage his now dwelling house and plantation
       to the said William Deceased whether he has since paid
       the said William deceased or Your Orat.rs since any part of the
       said sums  And whether one of the obligees afd Viz.t Humphry Webb
       since Runn away from this province to parts remote and unknown
       to your orators  And the Said William ^Ninian Beale^ Saith ^that^ he doth not know of any
       such sume as Twenty pounds sterl four thousand seven hundred
       and Ninety three pounds of Tobacco to have been due to the Comp.ts
       Testater in the Year seventeen hundred and one as in the Bill
       Alleadged  Tho he does owne there were Accounts Depending at that
       time Betwixt the said Testator and him and that a Ballance might
       then be due to the Testator but not so much as is alleadged which this
       Defendant Questions not to make appear (but the Exact Sum of he
       cannot Tell having never the Testators Account) has been paid him
       and Amongst the payments made him by this Defend.t he does not remember
       he has made any such payments as the Twenty pounds Bill
       of Exchange Specified in the Complainants Bill  And the Defendant
       doth acknowledge that he did Endorse over unto the Testator the two
       obligations in the Bill mentioned of Humphry Webbs and is well Informed
       that one of the said obligations were afterward Complyed with by the s.d
       Humphry by passing Bills of Excha to the Complain.ts or one of them
