       of Twenty pounds Sterl payable to the Said Ninian Beale the first day of Feb.ry
       Anno seventeen hundred and one the said Severall Sums of Money in the whole
       Amounting to one hundred pounds sterl that were never paid and satisfied the Said
       William in his life time or to Your Orator since his decease but Now so it is May
       it please Your Excy that the afd Bills of Excha for Twenty pounds Sterl were
       lately untohappyly Burnt Among other of your orators papers in their house by
       the late Miserable Fire which Consumed them to ashes which the Said Ninian
       Well knowing and Fraudulently Intending Designing thereof to take advantage
       Denys that ever they came protested to the Said Ninian in his life time or to Your
       Orator since his decease  And forasmuch as the Assignment which the Said Ninian
       Beale made on Said severall obligations afd to the said William deceased were only
       subscribed with his hand without a Seale and no power of attorney either on the
       Back of the Said Obligation or otherwise Seperate  Impowering the Said W.m
       in his life time or Your Orators since his decease in the Name of the Said Ninian
       to sue the same so that Your orators are Remediless by Strict Rules at Comon
       Law the Said Ninian haveing Denyed to make further or other Lawfull and
       Satisfactory Assignments thereof or to Impower the Said William in his life time
       to sue the same at Comon Law by Reason whereof Most of the Obligees ^afd^ either
       Rann away or became Insolvent before Your orat.rs or their Testator through
       the Length of time and the base and Fraudulent put offs the said Ninian ^W.m^ could
       not for want of Power from the Said Ninian Recover the Severall Sums of them
       to the End therefore that Your orat.rs May be Releived in all and Singular the premises
       aforementioned and the said Ninian be Compelled in this high and honble Court
       to make Satisfaction to Yo.r Orat.rs for the Bills of Exchange so as aforesaid Unfortunately
       Burnt and further to make a Legall Assignment of such of the Said Goods
       as Your Orat.rs as Your Orat.rs are in any likelyhood to Recover and the obligees
       thereof in this Province able and within the Reach of Your Orators  And that the
       said Ninian Beale May on his Corporal oath to be taken on the holy Evangelist of
