                               Anne by the Grace of God of Great Brittain France
       and Ireland Queen Defender of the Faith &c.a  Whereas James Haddock and Sarah
       his wife Ex.rx of the last and & Testament of William Barton Gent decd hath
       lately Exhibitted their Bill of Complaint in our high Court of Chanc.ry before our
       Trusty and wellbeloved John Seymour Esq our late Cap.t Gen.ll & Gov.r
       and keeper of the Great Seale of our Province of Maryland against Col.o Ninian
       Beale Whereby he hath sett forth that In the Year of our Lord Seventeen
       hundred and one being Indebted to Your Orator Sarahs late husband William
       Barton deceased in his life time and when Sheriff of Prince Georges County
       in Diverse sums of Tobacco for Imprisoment Fees and Tobacco paid & Disburst to
       and for the said Ninian Beale in the whole upon a true Ballance & State of
       Accounts Between them Amounting to the sum of ^Twenty^ four thousand seven hundred
       Ninety and three pounds of Tobacco that thereupon the Said Ninian Beale Soone
       after Endeavouring Party to satisfy Your Orat.r Sarahs Testater in his life time
       made and drew one sett of Bills of Exchange for Twenty pounds sterl payable
       to her said Testator William Barton which was Returned to said William ptested
       and likewise Your Orators further shew that the Said Ninian about the
       same time Endorst over to the Said William in his life time one obligation
       Perfected by a Certain Humphry Webb of Prince Georges County Planter
       Conditioned for the payment of thirty pounds sterl to the Said Ninian Beale
       on or before the Tenth day of October ^Anno Dm^ 1 1705  And likewise Endorst one other
       Obligation Perfected by the Said Humphry Conditioned for the payment of
       Thirty pounds sterl more to the Said Ninian Beale on or before the Tenth day of
       October Anno Dm 1706 to the Said William Barton  And likewise an other
       Obligation perfected by William Ophett of the Said County for the Sum of
