             June the 11.th 1711

             John Chappell aged about sixty one years being sworne Deposeth Viz.t

Int.ry 1.s   Being by an old Bridge the Depon.t saith that Place    was called Parkers
       branch ever since he knew it which is about fifty years past

Int.ry 2.d   And walking up the said Branch about a hundred yards to a draught a question
       was asked the Depon.t if that was ever called or knowne to be the head of Parkers
       Branch to which he Replyed it was Never So Called Neither do he think it to be
       is nor never was

Int.ry 3.d   And further saith that he was formerly at the Running out Marshes Seat
       who saith the East Course never came into the Said Branch and further saith not

          June y.e 11.th 1711

                      Samuel Guichard aged about forty five years being sworne Deposeth

       (Viz.t)   Interro.ry 1.st   That about Twenty Eight Years past being a Servant to M.r
       Thomas Knighton Sen.r and that about Twenty five or Twenty six years past
       the said Knighton made his will and bequeathed unto his son George Knighton
       a parcell of Land called Gadshills which said Land came downe to Parkers
       branch both upon the North and South

          Int.ry y.e 2.d   And further saith there was often times a Difference between his
       said Master and M.rs for that his Master Destroyed the Timber and Cleared the
       Land and made no Improvements on the said Land Called Gadshills

       Int.ry 3.d   and that his Master and he had some Talks of seating the same for his
       son George but could not agree about a Lay  Interrogative the fourth  And furth.r
       saith that the head of Parkers Branch so accounted to be a Mile or More ^further^ up
       the Said Branch then the Place in Dispute and farther Saith not
