       These are therefore to Certify that Wee John Mackall and Daniel of S.t
       Thomas Jenifer Comissioners above Nominated have called before us George
       Noakes of Calvert County and have taken his Depositions and Reduced the
       same into writing und^er^ his hand and Seale this 5.th day of Aprill Anno
       Dm 1711

               The Deposition of George Noakes of Calvert County aged twenty
       years or thereabouts Declareth on the holy Evangelist that about four year
       agoe he was in the woods with John Broake when the Said Broake surveyed
       and tooke up the Land Called Brooke Adventure  And that the Depon.t saith
       the Said survey of John Brooke Adventure  And that the Depon.t saith
       popaler which now the Said Depon.t is at to give his Corporall Oath that
       he the Said Depon.t did carry one End of the Chain at the same time when
       the said Brooke did take up the Land aforementioned and further saith not
