       Walnutt Tree within three or four Yards of which stands a bounded Spanish Oake
       near or by the side of Piscattaway Creek and did declare that the said Dead Walnutt
       was the Tree at which him the Depon.t formerly began the Survey of a Tract of Land
       for M.r W.m Hatton Called Rich Hills and is also the Tree at which he begann the
       Survey of that part of M.r John Gardiner Containing 327 Acres and then carrying us
       away North West into the Woods about thirty Perches to a Large bounded Walnutt  
       did also declare that he saw made that Large bounded Walnutt the Second bounds of
       the afd part of Warberton mannor  And alsoe that Robert Middleton did about
       Twenty years since shew him the said Deponent the said Walnutt & told him y.t
       he the said Middleton was shewed it by an overseer of old Cap.t Gardiners Who him
       the said Gardiner himself showed it to Telling him the said overseer it was the
       second and South East most bounded Tree of the said Warberton mannor & further
       the Said Hutchinson saith not  Sworne and Examined before us the day and

                                        The Deposition of John Christian aged about 49 years taken
       this 18.th day of October 1710   Your Dep.o Saith that about 23 years past
       there happned a Difference between John Trundle & John Trundle Syvick both of
       the above said County decd Concerning the bounds of their Lands the Deponent
       saith that they Mett at a Certain place called the Lower Landing place and there
       between a Locust Stump and a Read Oake Saplinn standing neer the Said Landing
       the said Trundle and Syvick did agree to put a post or plant a pare Tree w.ch should
       be the Corner tree between them y.e Deponant standing at a Certain place about
       5 strides from the said sapling and to the Northward of y.e said saplin the Depon.t
       further saith that John Syvick Dyed about a Month after y.e said Agreem.t which
       was y.e Reason it was not done before us Rich.d Jones (S)   Josias Tangoode
