673 Depositions taken for James Haddock Concerning Warrens Estate in P.r Geo County By Virtue of a Comission from her Ma.tys high Court of Chancery to us directed Wee have Caused to Come before us Col Ninion Beale Aged 84 years or thereabouts who being Ex.a on the holy Evangalist Deposeth that some time since this Deponent being in Company with Maj.r W.m Barton Decd and W.m Selby Decd W.m Selby came to the house of the said William Barton in order to give him Bills of Exchange for a Certain Tract of Land bought by the said William Selby of the said W.m Barton and the said W.m Selby would have given the said Barton Bills of Excha at the said Bartons owne house and the s.d Barton would not take them there but desired that he would pass them at his fathers M.r Richard Marshams house in ord.r to pay M.r Rich.d Marsham the money Due to y.e Orphans of Bazill Warrens meaning Marsham Warrens and Bazill Warrens Estates then in the hands of the said Barton and the bills being Drawne before W.m Selby signed the same the said Barton required a full discharge from the said Richard Marsham for the said Orphans Estate which the said Marsham Signed & Delivered to the said William Barton and to the best of my Remembrance I was an Evidence to the said Discharge in full for the af.d Feliale Portions and further saith not July 22.d 1710 Ninian Beale Jurat Coram Nobis R Bradley (S) Gerrard (S) Depositions taken for Alex.r Contee about Warberto Mannor Pr Geor County in Maryland fs y.e 31.th of August 1710 By Virtue of a Comission out of her Ma.tys high Court of Chancery of this province bearing date the 9.th day of July last past Comanding us to take the Depositions & Examinacons of all such Evidences as to us should be produced by M.r Alexand.r Contee touching y.e bounds of a pcell of Land in the afd County Containing 327 Acres being part of Warberton Mano.r In Obedience whereto at y.e request and by y.e ord.r and appointment of the afd Alex.r Contee Wee this day Caused to come before us M.r W.m Hutchins of this County Who after having his oath duly administered Laid his hand on a Lying Dead Walnutt |
