(669) the County of Ann Arundell to which he was a wittness being then a servant to the said Beard and further saith that to the best of his knowledge Twas Written by his son John but knoweth not the other Evidences and furth.^r^ saith not 4.th Whether he heard the said Beard in his life time Declare how he Intended to settle his Reall Estate and about what time To this Interrogatory he saith he never did and saith not Further Interrogatorys put to Walter Phelps of Ann Arundell County Viz.t 1.st Whether he knew Richard Beard the Elder of Ann arundell County To this Interrogatory he Answereth he did about forty nine year goe & further saith not 2 Whether he knew John Roster Eliz.a Carrington and Thomas Pensethwick all or any of them supposed to be Evidences subscribing to the said Richard Beard the Elders Will dated y.e 24.th July 1675 and which of them To this Interrogatory he saith he knew one called Eliz.a Carrington that Lived with him but One Eliz.a Mash who since Itermarried who one Jones & further saith not 3 Whether he knew any Will or Wills made by the said Richard Beard decd To this Interrogatory he saith he never knew any will made by him & further Saith not 4 Whether he knew one Thomas Pensethwick To this Interrogatory he Answered he knew one Thomas Smithwick a Cooper and went for England about Two years after the hard Year but knew none by the name of Thomas Pensethwick and further saith not 5 Did you know George Green and ask with whom he Lived To this Interrogatory he saith he did and that he served his time with the Said Richard Beard & further Saith not 6 Whether ever he heard the said Beard Declare how he would dispose of his reall Estate To this Interrogatory he Sath he never knew nor heard any thing of't from himself but heard Neighbours say he had Intaled it & further saith not 7 Whether he ever knew John Roster To this Interrogatory he saith he knew one John Rutter whose wife was named Alice but no John Roster and further saith not Interrogatorys put to Anne Bradley of Ann Arundell County Viz.t Whether ever she heard her Master Richard Beard say how he would dispose of the Reall Estate To this Int.ry she Saith she never heard of't by her Master but other said Twas to goe from heir to heir which was Comonly Talkt on & Further saith not In |
