       Small gust of wind as we were comeing from Kent The sayles
       and rigging did hold to carry her to Kent and back againe to Wye
       with the help of a spare foresaile which we had with us which
       M.r Forbes said he borrowed

       I was employd before she was begunn to load  And the others
       did Assist in loading but when hired I know not

       We had ruff wether being something of a gust in which we splitt
       our foresayle broke the rudder and was forct into Bugbys
       Creeke haveing a great deale of water in her  where ^we^ all
       left her and Came to Wye towne

          Wee was forct to pump once in about two hours when
       loaded and goeing to Kent but in comeing back to the best of
       my knowledge we did not pump for we came over in a
       little tyme

           To the sev.rall questions pposed by Nich.o Lowe Defd.t
       Richard Austin upon his oath answered  I doe know both
       Complt & Defd.t

       I heard M.r Forbes Ask same men to carry her to Choptank river
       and he would pay them but they refused

       I beleive not for the five man boat rotted at Wye towne

       I beleive she was Capable of being carryed to Wye towne
 
      The tyde falling she was aground some tyme at M.r Forbes
       his landing but I beleive she recd noe damage

       Edward Russell seemed to understand sayleing but the rest of
       them knew nothing of the matter

       The sailes would hold hoisting and Carryed her to Kent but
       in comeing back in a small storme the fore sayle splitt to peices
       Wee assisted in loading but when hired I cannot tell being a
       servant

       Wee had a small gust in which we splitt our foresaile and broke
       our rudder and were forct into Bugbys Creeke where we all
       left her and Came to Wye Towne
