       them how long have you known them Do you know Stephen Harvey & John Rogers
       or what Employm.t were they at the time of you knowledge do you know
       the ship Rogers what became of her do you know who was Ma.r of her do you
       know one Abraham Peters is all the s.d Psons now lieing declare your cause
       of knowledge hearsay & belief fully & at large?

2.d Int   Do you know of any sale made by John Dansey Esq.r Collector of the
       District of Potomock of the Ship Rogers after she was condemned to whom
       was the sale made how much did he sell her for how was the same paid or to
       be paid was not Stephen Harvey & John Rogers to give Bills with good Countrey Security
       for the paym.t of the s.d Ship before the same was to be deliver'd unto them who
       advised them ag.t giving Security do you know have you heard the s.d John Dansey of or
       unto the s.d Factors Stephen Harvey and Rogers the s.d Ship upon giving Security
       according to agreem.t made between them did you ever hear the s.d Factors
       or any other concerned for S.r John Rogers declare the occasion for not giving
       the s.d Security what do you believe to be the^ir^ reason or interest in the denyall
       of any then present at the s.d proposalls touching what they knew of the same is

       of an Action upon the late ab.t y.e Ship Rogers taken before Gerrard Slye Gen.t by
       vertue of a Comission to Examin Wittnesses in perpetuam Rei Memoriam this 2.d day
       of August 1705 at the house of the s.d John Dansey in Patuxent in S.t Marys County
       which said Comission issued out of the high Court of Chancery of this Province &
       bears date the 5.th day of May in the fourth year of the Reign of our
