       an Estate for life in a Tract of Land next to Mathew Smiths above
       him and have been often told that the bounds of the whole Tract was by
       that part of Morgans Creek now called Wye River betwixt a bounded Oak
       on that Cove or Branch now called Sadlers Cove and a bounded Pine
       Tree standing by Barren Neck Cove w.ch I have often seen near
       Mathew Smiths house but never saw the Oak

Qu 4.th   Was that Cove by Mathew Smiths ever called by any othe name
       than Barren Neck Cove or do you know any other Cove called by
       that Name in that part of Wye River?

    Answ.r   It was never called by any other name formerly perhaps some
       Psons of late may call it Matthews or Smiths Cove nor I never heard
       of any other Cove in this Branch of Wye called by that name

Qu 5.th   Did you ever know of any person that questions Coll.o Courseys Right
       to the Land bounded between the Two abovesaid Trees or did say his Land
       lay any where elce?

    Answ.r   Never any untill since Coll.o Coursey Death one William Hemsley
       p.rtended to take it up and to remove the Coll.os Land to some other place
