    Answ.r   I did never see that Tree but have after heard severall persons
       speak of such a Tree standing by that Cove or Branch and they
       all called it the first bounded tree of Courseys Range

Qu 5.th   Do you know or did you ever hear any thing elce relating to the
       Bounds of the s.d Land or did you ever hear that Coll.o Coursey ever did
       lay Claim to any other Land above or below the Two af.d Tree for this Tract
       called Courseys Range?

    Answ.r   The Oak by Sadlers Branch and the Pine by my house have ever
       been owned by Coll.o Coursey & Esteemed by every one that had any
       knowledge of the Land to be the Bound Trees of & Coll.o Coursey
       never to my knowledge claimed any Land for that Tract but what
       is contained between them for breadth & for length back into
       the Woods nor did ever any body question his Title to the Land so
       bounded untill one William Hemsley lately since the Collonells
       Death p.rtended to take it up and lay Claime to remove the
       Collonells to some other place

       The Answers of Richard Mirax of Tallbot County Planter to y.e severall
       Questions askt him by John Coursey of the same County Gen.t touching & concerning
       the bounds of a certain Tract of Land called Courseys Range now in the possession
       of the s.d John Coursey lying in Tallbot County on the Western side of
       Morgans Creek now called Wye River the s.d Richard Mirax having first
       taken his Corporall Oath upon the holy Evangelists before me William
       Coursey Commissioner Especially appointed for this purpose by a Comission
       from the high Court of Chancery bearing date y.e 6.th day of October last
             Take this 15.th day of February in the 2.d Year of her Matys Reign
             Annoq Domini 1703

Imp.rs   Did you know Coll.o Henry Coursey of Tallbot County late dec.d & how
       long have you been acquainted with him?

    Answ.r   I have known him forty Eight Years

Qu 2.d   Do you know that the s.d Coll.o Henry Coursey in his life time was possest of
       a Tract of Land called Courseys Range have you known him to be possest
       thereof?

    Answ.r   I have known the Land he Claimed by that name about 38 years

Qu 3.d   Where doth it be and how bounded?

    Answ.r   I am not of my own certain knowledge acquainted with the bounds
       but about Thirty Three years since I purchased of Coll.o Henry Coursey
