To y.e 17.th   That this Depo.t was informed that the s.d Peters did
       repair to the Office of the s.d John Dansey the 20.th of July 1703 and
       then & there requested the s.d Danzey to Clear the s.d Ship Rogers pursuant
       to his Promise

To y.e 18.th   That this Depo.t was informed that the s.d Dansey positively refused
       to Clear the s.d Ship and allso to deliver the s.d Peters his Clearance from
       Virginia and the Lord Balltemores Officer

To y.e 19.th   That the s.d Dansey refused to Clear the s.d Ship Rogers p.rtending he wanted
       Security for the Bills of Exch.a Stephen Harvey the Factor & Agent of the
       s.d S.r John Rogers deliver'd the s.d Dansey in full satisfaction for the Ship Rogers
       w.ch Bills the s.d Dansey had accepted & negotiated a considerable
       time before

To y.e 20.th   That by reason of the s.d Danseys refusing the Clearing the s.d Ship
       She was detained in the Countrey and lost the Convoy

To y.e 21.th   That by the Reason of the Detencon of the s.d Ship was very much damnified
       and her bottom Eaten out by the Worms in so much that she was now bottom'd
       at the Cost & Charge of the s.d S.r John Rogers

To the Last   That the Cargoe of Tobacco on board the s.d Ship by reason of the s.d
       Detencon is damnified in so much that to the best of this Depo.ts knowledge
       there is upwards of one hundred & fifty hogsheads thereof Totally Lost

                      By Vertue of the aforemenconed Comission I do hereby
                      humbly Certifie that the foregoing Depositions is a True &
                      Exact Copy Word for Word of what the severall Evidences
                      herein named declared upon their Corporall Oaths Administred
                      by me to them upon the Holy Evangelist as Wittness my hand
                      and Seal the day and Year aforesaid
