To y.e 3.d Inter   That he knows the Ship Rogers was Condemned to be
       forfeited by a Court of Vice Admirallty held at Annapolis in Ann Arundell
       County the 18.th of November 1702 with all her Gunns Tackle Apparrell and
       Furniture one third part thereof to the Queens Maty one third part there
       to the then Govern.r of this Province and the other third part to John Dansey
       Collector of her Matys Customes for the District of Potomock

To y.e 4.th   That the s.d Ship Rogers after Condemnacon af.d was appraised to Three
       hundred Thirty Seven pounds Eleven Shillings & four pence Sterl
   
To y.e 5.th   That S.r John Rogers Barronett of Plymouth in the Kingdom of
       England Merch.t was Sole Owner of the s.d Ship Rogers and a certain Abraham
       Peters Comand.r Ma.r before the Condemnacon afores.d

To y.e 6.th   That after the Condemnacon af.d (to witt) the 20.th of November
       1702 or thereabouts the s.d John Dansey the Defend.t being then Collector of her
       Matys Customes for Potomock District did by Order of the Court of Admirallty
       undertake the Sale and disposall of the s.d Ship with all her Gunns &c

To y.e 7.th   That a certain Stephen Harvey y.e then Factor & Agent of the s.d S.r John Rogers
       within this province did purchase the s.d Ship Rogers for the s.d S.r John Rogers with her Gunns
       Tackle &c for one hundred ninety seven pounds Nineteen shillings & Eleven pence

To y.e 8.th   That the s.d Harvey did draw seperate & distinct Bill of Exch.a upon S.r John
       Rogers for the af.d sum payable to the severall per menconed us y.e s.d Condemnacon

To y.e 9.th   That the s.d Bills of Exch were del.d to y.e s.d John Dansey in full Satisfaction
       for the said Ship Rogers on behalf of the s.d S.r John Rogers

To y.e 10.th   That the s.d Dansey did accept & negotiate the said Bills of Exch.a

To y.e 11.th   That he hath a Letter from the s.d S.r John Rogers that the s.d Bills were
       by him accepted and paid to the s.d Danseys Order

To y.e 12.th   That the s.d Dansey upon receiving the s.d Bills of Exch did permit the said
       Peters Ma.r of the s.d Ship Rogers to Cons the same with Tob.o as he the s.d Danseys
       being then Collector of her Matys Customes for Potomock District

To the 13.th   That the s.d Peters did load the s.d Ship with 337 hh.ds of Tob.o by Vertue of
       the permission and Authority he had from the af.d Dansey as Collector af.d together
       with the Authority he had from Coll.o Richard Lee Collector in Virginia

To y.e 14.th   That he had been informed by the s.d Peters that he was at the house of M.r
       Dansey to demand his Clearance & further Saith not

To y.e 15.th   That he was informed that there was Two of her Matys Ships of Warr in Virginia
       and Order'd to Convoy home to England all such Ships as were in Virginia and
       Maryland ready to Saile

To y.e 16.th   That this Depo.t hath been informed that upon the s.d Peters his
       making application to the s.d Dansey to Clear the s.d Ship Rogers that the s.d Dansey
       promised to Comply therewith provided the s.d Peters would meet him the s.d Dansey at his
       Office then kept at or near Piney Point & that y.e s.d Peters did deliver y.e s.d Dansey his
       Clearance from Virginia & y.e Lord Balltemores Officer
