       Officer which the s.d Dansey allso refused to deliver saying they belonged
       to him

To y.e 20.th  21.th  & Last Interrogatorys saith not


             William Coode aged abot Twenty six years being sworn on the
             Holy Evangelist deposeth and Saith

To the 1.st Inter   That he knows the Defend.t and further Saith not

To y.e 2.d   That he knows the Ship Rogers and further Saith not

To y.e 3.d  4.th  5.th  6.th  7.th  8.th  9.th  10.th  11.th  12.th  & 13.th Interrogatoryes Saith not

To y.e 14.th   Saith that some time about Two Years since the Depo.t went with the said
       Peters to the house of John Dansey the Defend.t to demand his Clearance
       the Depo.t intending to be the s.d Peters's Security for the paym.t of his Countrey
       Dutys & Fees for the Impost of the Loading of the s.d Ship Rogers

To y.e 15.th Saith not

To y.e 16.th   That the s.d Dansey promised to meet the s.d Peters at his Office at Tower Hill
       near Piney Point and Clear him and that the s.d Peters did deliver the s.d Dansey
       his Clearance from Virginia and the Lord Balltemores Officer

To y.e 17.th & ^18.th^ Saith not

To y.e 19.th   Saith that the said Dansey refused to Clear the s.d Ship Rogers pretending
       he wanted security for certain Bills of Exch he had rec.d & negotiated a considerable
       time before in full satisfaction for the s.d Ship Rogers after Condemnation

To y.e 20.th  21.th  and Last Inter.o Saith not


             John Slye aged about 62 Years being Sworn on the holy Evangelist
             deposeth and Saith that

To the first Inter   That he knows the Defnd.t and further Saith not

To y.e 2.d   That he knows the Ship Rogers and further Saith not

To y.e 3.d   That he hath heard the Ship Rogers was Condemned by a Court of Vice
       Admirallty and further Saith not

To y.e 4.th   That after Condemnation the Ship Rogers with all her Gunns &c was appraised
       to Three hundred Thirty seven pounds Eleven shillings & four pence

To y.e 5.th   That he hath been informed that S.r John Rogers Barronet of
       Plymouth in the Kingdom of England Merch.t was Sole Owner of the said
       Ship and a certain Abraham Peters Ma.r

To y.e 6.th   That John Dansey the Defend.t inform'd this Depo.t that he undertook the saile
       & disposall of the s.d Ship Rogers by order of the Co.rt of Admirallty
