       of Chesley at the survey of Hugh Ryley's Land Called Rileys Discovery and is
       Expressed in the Certificate of the Same but James Williams Refusing to let us
       begin at that Tree Alledging that his Land was bounded at the North East Corner by
       a poplar and there upon bounded or caused to be bounded this very Poplar on
       which I now lay my hand and did there in y.e p.rsence of James Mattikin Jn.o
       Chapman and my self own and Claim that to be the North East bounds of
       his Land Called Chelsey and further Yo.r Deponant saith not

       Aged fourty Years or thereabouts being sworn before us upon the Holy
       Evangelist Saith That he was on y.e 23.d of Jan.ry 1697 with Thomas Addison
       James Williams & Jn.o Chapman when James Williams caused Thomas Addison
       to lay out Two hundred Acres of Land out of the North East Corner of his
       Land called Chelsey When coming to a bounded Hickory w.ch was bounded
       at the servey of Hugh Rileys Land called Riley's Discovery for the North East
       Corner Tree of the s.d Chelsey and is Expressed in y.e s.d Rileys Certificate When
       James Williams refusing to let the said Addison begin at the s.d Hiccory above
       Expressed to lay out the above Two Hundred Acres Acres of Land; alledging
       that his Land was bounded at the North East Corner by a Poplar and
       thereupon either bounded himself or caused to be bounded this very poplar
       on w.ch I now lay my hand and did there in the p.rsence of Jn.o Chapman
       Thomas Addison and my self own and claime that to be the North East
       Bounds of his Land Called Chelsey and from thence caused Thomas Addison
       to proceed and further saith not                  his

       In Obedience to a Commission from the High Court of Chancery bearing date the
       Seventeenth Day of November last  We have taken the Oaths of the within
       menconed Three persons whose Names are subscribed to each Deposition
       as is before Expressed this 10.th Day of Feb.ry 1702/3
