       near the Western Branch and there did declare that the said Poplar
       was the original bounded Tree of Chartsy afd & a bounded Tree of
       Perrywood thence carryed us to a Red Oake marked and bounded on
       the East side of a Meadow and did there declare that the said Red Oake
       was the South East bounded Tree of Chartsy and a bounded Tree of
       Perrywood afd  Thence carryed us to a bounded Hiccory w.ch he declared
       stood about six Fathom from the place where the originall bounded
       Hiccory of Chartsey stood and was bounded and y.t he y.e s.d Coll.o Beale
       did mark this p.rsent Hiccory instead of the antient bounded Hiccory which was
       dead and now rotten and burnt all which the s.d Coll.o Beale testifies as
       his certain knowledge being then and there an Eye Wittness

       The Deposition of Rob.t Middleton

       Aged 53 years or thereabouts sworn saith That about sixteen
       years ago yo.r Deponant being along with M.r Giles Blizard and M.r
       Jn.o Wheeler upon a Tract of Land called blue plain the sd Wheeler
       being to show Blizard the beginning Tree of the s.d Land he brought
       him upon a Covell about a quarter of a Mile from the side of the
       Creek called Oxmor S.t Johns Creek and told him that M.r Lewyar showed
       him a bounded oake w.ch was the first tree of blue plaine but when
       M.r Blizard and we came to look for it we could find no bound Tree but
       Lewyar told M.r Wheeler that it was a Line Tree of Meeks his Land
       and further saith not      Robert Middleton
