       Imediatly upon passing & acknowledging y.e Conveyance  And as
       for y.e piece of plate to be presented my Wife I must oblige
       you to send for it by y.e Ships now in y.e Countrey & to be of y.e
       value of 5. sterl first Cost & it will be best pleasing to my
       Wife y.t y.e same be a Tankard on wch terms to be performed
       I do hereby empower you to take imediate possession of
       y.e house & proceed to repair it as you see fit wch is the

       Came John Stanley & made oath upon y.e holy Evangelist
       That he writt y.e within Writing & yt he saw M.r Denton
       sign y.e same with his own hand writing & y.t he knows y.t
       y.e s.d Henry Denton did agree to sell his house & two Lotts at
       S.t Maries to James Brown for twenty pounds sterl & a
       silv.r Tankard of five pounds sterl

       Sept.r y.e 12.th 1698
                         Therefore this Cause coming this day to be heard
                      upon bill & answer in y.e presence of y.e Councill
                      on both sides Upon reading y.e s.d bill & Answ.r & y.e Deposition
                      of John Stanley taken in this Cause by y.e Consent
       of both pties referred to y.e Judgment of this Court  It is
       hereby ordered & Decreed  That y.e s.d Compl.t James Brown
       do hold & enjoy y.e Land houses & premisses in y.e Compl.ts bill
       mentioned according to y.e true Intent & meaning of the
       Agreem.t between him y.e s.d James Brown & Henry Denton
       proved & admitted by y.e s.d Deft to him y.e s.d James
       Brown his heirs & Assignes forever ag.t y.e s.d Hen.r Denton &
       his heirs & ag.t y.e s.d Mary y.e Relict of y.e s.d Henry her Right
       of Dower to y.e same Which to him is by this Court Decreed
        accordingly  He y.e s.d James Brown first paying or securing to
       be paid to y.e s.d Mary Denton & Vachel Denton y.e purchase
       Money & plate in y.e s.d bill & Answ.r mentioned according as y.e
       Law of this pvicne doth provide y.t is to say one third part
       thereof to y.e s.d Mary in Discharge of her part & y.e other two
       thirds to be secured to y.e use of y.e s.d Vachel in y.e account
       of her Administration of y.e s.d Henry Dentons Estate by y.e
       Judg of y.e Court for probat of Wills &c  And y.t y.e Costs & charges
       of this suite by y.e Consent of y.e pties afd be born & paid in
