       could receive from him either y.e aforesaid quantity of tobacco
       due by bond or y.e s.d bills of Exc.° for y.e s.d sum of sixty five
       pounds sterl or y.e Debt due to him by Account as aforesaid
       Whereupon y.e s.d Gabriel being desirous to secure what he
       could of y.e s.d Debt applyed himself to y.e Comissary Gen.ll for
       administration upon y.e s.d Longmans Estate as y.e greatest
       Credit.r w.ch upon making it appear y.t y.e s.d Longman was
       so as aforesaid indebted to him was granted  But y.t upon
       an Inventory & appraisment made of y.e s.d Longmans
       personall Estate y.e s.d Gabriel found y.e same was not
       sufficient to pay him y.e Debt due by acc.t as aforesaid
       & y.t therefore for want of effects he was left utterly
       remediless as to both y.e s.d Debts due to him by bonds w.th
       y.e Interest thereof from y.e severall times they were payable
       inasmuchas one Steven Longman Heir at Law of
       y.e s.d Dan.ll Longman lives in England  Who if he were
       in this province might be empleaded by y.e s.d Gabriel for
       y.e s.d Debts there being a plantation of about three hundred
       Acres descended to him from y.e s.d Dan.ll Longman
       his brother whereof y.e s.d Parrot is possessed & to his vast
       Charge trouble & expence has defended at Law ag.st persons
       claiming a Title thereunto & therefore being left utterly
       remediless at Comon Law in y.e s.d Matters has applyed himself
       for Redress to this Court  Wherefore having matured
       considered y.e Reasons Justice & equity wch appears for relieving
       y.e s.d Gabriell in y.e premisses  We do order determine & Decree
       That he y.e s.d Gabriel continue in y.e full peaceable & quiet
       possession of y.e s.d plantation whereon y.e s.d Daniel Longman
       lived & all y.e appurtenances thereunto belonging as well against
       y.e heir at Law of y.e s.d Daniel as ag.st all & every other pson
       or psons whatsoever claiming or y.t may claim any Right Title
       or Interest from y.e s.d heir at Law or any other claiming
       by from or under him untill such time as he y.e s.d Gabriel Parrot be
       fully & compleatly satisfied & paid all such sum or sums of Money or Title
       w.th y.e legall Interest thereof wch upon y.e s.d Gabriels pfecting and compleating
       his acc.ts of his Adm.ron upon y.e s.d Dan.ll Longmans estate w.th
       y.e Comiss.ry Gen.ll for y.e time being shall appear to be justly due to [illegible]
       ments wch have been by him made & expended in defending y.e title of
       s.d Land or plantation ag.st such psons as have pretended a Title
       thereunto & sued for y.e same since y.e death of y.e s.d Longman
       This is ordered determined & decreed in & by y.e Court
       of Chancery sitting & held at y.e port & town of Annapolis in
       Ann Arundell County this tenth day of March in y.e tenth
       year of y.e Reign of our soveraign Lord William y.e third of England
       Scotland France & Ireland King Defend.r of y.e faith &c
