(226 Pounds of Tobacco also the defts owne fee for w.ch the Comp.lt by agreement was to pay the sume of Two hundred pounds of Tobacco Also the deft by the ord.r and Request of the Comp.lt did pay for him to John Baker the sume of Eight hundred fifty and Eight pounds of Tobacco w.ch hee owed him by bill & Two hundred and Tenn pounds of Tobacco w.ch hee owed him by account and tooke in his bill and discharge for the whole from the said Baker also att his Request did pay unto M.r John Griggs in part of Two ord.rs of Court obtained against the Comp.lt the sume of Two thousand one hundred pounds of Tobacco and also att his request did pay unto Garrat Vanswearingen the sume of Twelve hundred pounds of Tobacco in part of an ord.r of Court obtained ag.t the Comp.lt by the said Vanswearingen also the deft Did at the pticuler request of y.e Comp.lt and for his Proper debt became bound w.th the Comp.lt To Thomas Cosden for the sume of one Thousand six hundred and thirty pounds of Tobacco in one bill und.r both theire hands and seales dated y.e nineteenth of July 1677 & Paid the same and also paid for him & by his ord.r to Nicholas Painter the sume of sixty pounds of Tobacco and also unto William Parker for Receiveing and Paying Nine thousand Two hundred and Fourteene pounds of Tobacco for him the said Comp.lt the Sume of Six hundred pounds of Tobacco And the said Comp.lt did offer the said deft to make over his Land to him for security for what hee owed him and if the deft would Draw the security pmised to Pay him for the same Foure hundred pounds of Tobacco soe y.t the said Comp.lt and deft Comeing to an Account together y.e nineteenth day of July 1677 The said Comp.lt was indebted to the said Deft the full & Just sume or Quantity of Twenty five Thousand Eighty and Eight Pounds of Tobacco as by account to the answere annexed might appeare and accordingly the said Comp.lt by his Deed then Dated in Consid.racon thereof and the Receipts whereof hee thereby acknowledged Did Grant bargaine sell demise sett and to farme Lett to the deft all those foure pcells of Land Menconed in the said Deed & Resurveyed into One Intire Tract of Land and Called by the name of Tillington Lyeing in Calvert County aforesaid Then Resurveyed for Eleaven hundred and seaventeene Acres and then in the Occupacon of the said Comp.lt or his Assignes w.th all houses orchards Gardens (& |
