RESOLUTION FOR AN AMENDMENT

TO THE CHARTER OF

THE TOWN OF ST. MICHAELS

"PERRY CABIN FARM ANNEXATION"

A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSIONERS OF ST. MICHAELS,

PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY OF ARTICLE ll-E OF THE

CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF MARYLAND, AND MARYLAND

CODE (1957), ARTICLE 23A, SECTION 19, AS AMENDED,
TO AMEND THE CHARTER OF ST. MICHAELS, THIS AMENDMENT

TO BE ENTITLED "PERRY CABIN FARM ANNEXATION", TO
EXTEND THE BOUNDARIES OF ST. MICHAELS AND TO PROVIDE
FOR CERTAIN CONDITIONS WITHIN THE AREA THUS ANNEXED.

WHEREAS, the Upper Shore Aging Housing Corporation is
the owner of a parcel of land located near Mitchell Street,
partially within and partially outside of the corporate
limits of the Town of St. Michaels; and

WHEREAS, the Upper Shore Aging Housing Corporation
desires and consents to have all of its land annexed and
included within the corporate boundaries of St. Michaels,
and subject to the ordinances thereof; and

WHEREAS, Talbot County, Maryland is the owner of a
parcel of land located adjacent to the corporate limits of
the Town of St. Michaels, which land is a portion of Parcel
No. 3 as shown on a Plat entitled "Final Plat, Plat Showing
A Survey of Perry Cabin Farm, In And Near the Town of St.
Michaels, Talbot County, Maryland"; being the land shown
upon a plat entitled "Part Of The Land Of Harry C.
Meyerhoff, Et Al, To Be Conveyed To Talbot County Council,
Near The Town of St. Michaels, Tal. Co., Md."; and

WHEREAS, Talbot County, Maryland desires and hereby
consents to have the above described land annexed and
included within the corporate boundaries of St. Michaels,
and subject to the ordinances thereof; and

WHEREAS, Perry Cabin Associates, the owner of Parcel
No. 2 and the remainder of Parcel No. 3 as shown upon a Plat
entitled "Final Plat, Plat Showing A Survey Of Perry Cabin
Farm, In And Near St. Michaels, Talbot County, Maryland",
dated August 1977, made by J. R. McCrone, Jr., Inc., and
recorded among the plat record books of Talbot County,
Maryland in Plat Liber 45, Folio 8, located adjacent and to
the North of the Town of St. Michaels, have expressed a
desire to have the said Perry Cabin Farm annexed to The Town
of St. Michaels, and to have the same subjected to the
Zoning Ordinances, Subdivision Regulations, and other
ordinances of the Town of St. Michaels to provide for the
orderly development of and for the supply of municipal
services to the said property, all pursuant to the
