AN ACT concerning

Mortgage Brokers - Finder's Fees

FOR the purpose of providing conditions under which a
mortgage broker may not charge a finder's fee.

BY adding to

Article - Commercial Law
Section 12-804(e)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1975 Volume and 1980 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article - Commercial Law

12-804.

(E) A MORTGAGE BROKER MAY NOT CHARGE A FINDER'S FEE IN
ANY TRANSACTION IN WHICH HE IS THE LENDER, A PARTNER OF THE
LENDER, OR IS A PART OWNER OF THE LENDER.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

FOR the purpose of repealing a certain prohibition against
breeding, disposing, and destruction of certain birds;

requiring the State Department of Agriculture to

monitor and test for certain exotic bird diseases;
imposing certain recordkeeping and notice requirements
on keepers of exotic birds, and defining a certain term

prohibiting a person from offering, selling, or giving
any birds not native to Maryland except as provided by
