lease, for sublease, for let, or otherwise for occupancy by
someone other than the owner in return for a consideration.

(4) "To show" a residential property which is
for sale or rent means for a real estate broker, agent, or
salesman to make arrangements for a [client or a prospective
client] PROSPECTIVE BUYER OR RENTER to inspect it.

(e) It is unlawful for any real estate salesman, agent
or broker to represent to any person that a residential
property is not available or that listings in a specified
price range are not available or that listings in addition
to those already shown are not available when such
residential property or listings are, in fact, available and
are within the price range specified by the [client or
prospective client] PROSPECTIVE BUYER OR RENTER, if such
representation is based upon the race, color, religion, sex,
marital status, or national origin of the [client]
PROSPECTIVE BUYER OR RENTER to whom the representation is
made, or the composition or character of the area in which
the property described by such listings is situated.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1980.

AN ACT concerning

Worcester County - Mortgage Interest
Payable After Sale

FOR the purpose of extending the number of days after a sale
of real property in Worcester County that interest is
payable; and making stylistic changes.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Real Property
Section 7-105(b)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1974 Volume and 1979 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:
