   two of the Subscribing Witnesses to the within last Will & Testament
   of James Strauhn late of Kent County deceased and Severally made Oath
   on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God that they did see the Testator ~
   therein named Sign and Seal this Will, and that they heard him ~
   publish pronounce and declare the same to be his last Will and
   Testament, and that at the same time he was to the best of their ~
   apprehensions, of sound and disposing mind memory & Understanding
   and that Jacob Riley the other Subscribing Witness was present at the same
   time and Signed his name as Witness to this Will together with these
   deponants in the presence, and at the request of the Testator and in

    In the name of God amen I John Bolton of Chester Town in the
   State of Maryland Merchant, being of perfect and disposing mind & memory,
   for which I most humbly thank the Father of all, and recollecting the ~
   Certainty of Death, and the uncertinty of the time thereof, do make ~
   this my last Will and Testament, intending hereby to dispose of my
   whole Estate both Real and personal, —
   First   It is my Will, and I do hereby, for the payment of my Debts, And
   for the other purposes of this my Will, order direct and Impower my
   Executor herein after named, to sell and dispose of by public Sale, ~
   within Twelve months after my decease, all my Real Estate in Chester
   Town afd, in such portions and parcels as my said Executor shall think
   most for the advantage of my Estate (except that part of my Lot Marked
   No.23 on the plat of said Town which are Included in the following lines,
   to wit, by a line drawn at right Angles from Fish Street, so as to take in
   the low House, to the line of a lot I b lately belonging to a certain Ralph ~
   Storey, and from thence with athe said line to Queen’s Street, thence
   with Queen Street to Fish Street aforesaid, and from thence to the place
   of Beginning) And the same by one or more Deed or Deeds to Convey and
   make over to the purchaser or purchasers thereof in Fee Simple, I likewise
