        In the Name of God   Amen I Robert Maxwell
   of Kent County in the State of Maryland being in a very weak and
   low of Estate but of sound and disposing Mind and Memory, Thanks-
   be to God therefore, do make and Constitute this my last Will and Test=
 =ament in Manner and form Following that is to say. —  — —
        I give and bequeath unto my Son Robert Maxwell and to
   his Heirs and Assigns forever all that Tract of Land which I heretofore
   Purchased of Michael Earle lying formerly in Cecil County and State ~
   aforesaid but now in New Castle County in the State of Dalaware —
   Containing by Patent five Hundred Acres be the same more or less —
        I give and bequeath unto my Son John Maxwell and to his Heirs
                                                             or Parcel
   and Assigns forever that part of a Tract^ or Land which I heretofore purchased
   of my Brother John Maxwell lying and being in Kent County and State
   of Maryland aforesaid and called Partners Addition being the —
   Plantation whereon I now dwell, together with all my Right Title
   and Interest whatsoever either in Law or Equity of in and to a small
   Parcel of Land part of the same Tract called Partners Addition —
   which I have lately purchased of my Son in Law John Writson Browning
   whom I hereby request and desire may by good and sufficient Deed —
   convey to my said Son John Maxwell and his Heirs and Assigns —
   forever as soon as conveniently may be done after my decease, he my
   said Son John paying to the said John Writson Browning whatsoever
   Ballance may appear to be yet due to him if any for the said —
   purchase at the Rate of seven Pounds current Money per Acre ~
        I give and bequeath unto my Son William Maxwell and to
   his Heirs and Assigns forever all that part of a Tract of Land called ~
   McCay’s Purchase lying and being in the County and State last —
   aforesaid which I heretofore purchased of Henry Holeman except so —
   much and such part thereof as I have since the said parchase sold out in Lotts-
      If my Son Robert should die without Heirs or Assigns then my
   Will is that my Son William and his Heirs and Assigns shall have and
   enjoy the Lands herein before devised to my said Son Robert in as full
   and ample Manner to all Intents and Purposes as my said —
   Robert or his Heirs or Assigns may might or Could have done—
