  Item – I do hereby direct and appoint that my Son Charles shall
        be Guardian to and have the tuition of my Son John and the
        Care of his Estate during the minority of my said Son John –

  Item I do hereby direct and appoint that my Son Marmaduke shall
      be Guardian to and have the tuition of my Son Edward and the
      Care of his Estate during the minority of my said Son Edward –
  Item I will and devise that my following Negroes to wit Anthony, Bet,
      Nan, and the Boy called Able, shall be sold by my Executors
      herein after named for or towards the Payment of my Debts ——
  Item I give and bequeath all the rest and residue of my Personal —
      Estate to be equally divided between my Sons Marmaduke —
      Charles and E John and Edward and my Daughter Rebecca —
   Lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my Sons Marmaduke and —
   Charles to be my Executors of this my last Will and Testament revoaking and
   annuling hereby all former Wills by me heretofore made and ratifying and Confirm=
 = ing this and none other to be my last Will and Testament In Testimony —
   whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and affixed my Seal this twentyeth —
   day of December in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred —
   and Eighty five —   ———      - —       ——

    Signed Sealed Published and declared by Charles Tilden the above menti=
 = oned Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the Presence of us
   who at his request and in his Presence have subscribed our Names as —
   Witnesses thereto, William Trew, Mary Merritt, Bartus Wilkins Junr.
   January 15.th 1787 Then Came Mary Merritt, and Bartus Wilkins Junr. and made-
   oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God, and William Trew at the same Time —
   on his Solem Affirmation to him Administred and declared that they did see
   the Testator therein Named sign and Seal this Will, and that they heard him –
   Published Pronounce and Declare the same to be his last Will and Testament
   and at the Time of his so doing he was to the best of their Apprehensions of —
   Sound and disposing mind Memory and understanding and that they Respec=
 = tively Subscribed their Names as Witnesses to this Will in the Presence and at
   the Request of the Testator and in the Presence of each other. ——
