AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Council of
Wicomico County, Maryland to provide for the licensing of
Mobile Home (and Travel Trailer) Parks in Wicomico County;
to provide regulations and charges therefor; to provide for
a tax thereon and methods of reporting and collection
"thereof; to provide for enforcement, inspection and
prescribing penalties for violation thereof; (and to repeal
Code,) pursuant to the power and authority contained in
Wicomico County Code Chapter 22, Section 22—2 and Article
81, Section 12{c) of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957
Edition) .
WHEREAS, the County Council of Wicomico has found that
there is an increasing trend toward the use of mobile
residences which are, when inadequately regulated,
incompatible with conventional housing;
(WHEREAS, the enactment of this—ordinance—creating
incorporated the provisions of Chapter 211 titled "Trailer
incorporated the provisions of Chapter 211 titled "Trailer
Camps" in order to centralize provisions dealing with Mobile
Home and Travel Trailers;)
WHEREAS, the County Council of Wicomico County hereby
finds an emergency measure is required to provide for the
regulation and control of mobile home (and trailer) parks in
Wicomico County in order to alleviate a threat to the
health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Wicomico
County.

AN ACT to amend Chapter 225 of the Wicomico County
Code, titled "Zoning", by repealing and reenacting with
amendments, portions of Section 225-3, Subsection B, titled
"Definitions" and Section 225-96, titled "Mobile Home
Residence Parks".
WHEREAS, it appears advisable to amend the aforesaid
zoning chapter of the Wicomico County Code to redefine
certain terms relating to motile home residences and to set
forth standards for mobile residence parks;
AND, WHEREAS, the County Council of Wicomico County
hereby finds that an emergency measure amending the Zoning
Chapter of the Wicomico County Code, to provide certain
standards for mobile residence parks and to redefine certain
terms relating to mobile residences is required in order to
alleviate a threat to the health, safety and welfare of the
citizens of Wicomico County.
