Bill No. 12

AN ACT to amend Chapter 156 of the Wicomico County
Code, titled "Grading and Earthmoving" by repealing and
reenacting with amendments. Section 156—5, titled "Permit
Application" to permit architects, land surveyors and
landscape architects as well as professional engineers to
design and prepare sediment control plans.

WHEREAS, it appears advisable to amend the aforesaid
Section 156—5 of Chapter 156 of the Wicomico County Code to
permit engineers to design and prepare sediment control
plans.

Bill No. 13

AN ACT to amend Chapter 203 of the Wicomico County
Code, titled "Taxation" by repealing and reenacting with
amendments, Section 203-1, titled "Tax Imposed" under
Article I, titled "Tax On Recorded Instruments", to increase
the tax imposed on instruments conveying title to property
and securing debts, recorded with the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Wicomico County, and to amend Section 203—2 of
said Chapter to provide for the effective date thereof.

WHEREAS, the County Council of Wicomico County hereby
finds an emergency measure amending the Taxation Chapter of
the Wicomico County Code, to provide for an increase in the
recordation tax affecting the recordation of instruments
conveying title and securing debt is required in order to
alleviate a threat to the health, safety and welfare of the
citizens of Wicomico County.

AN ACT to amend Chapter 225 of the Wicomico County
Code, titled "Zoning", Section 80 titled "Minimum Setback
Requirements", Subsection A, titled "Principal Buildings",
by adding a provision providing for nonconformance with
setback and yard regulations of certain residences.

WHEREAS, the County Council of Wicomico County hereby
finds an emergency measure amending the Zoning Chapter of
the Wicomico County Code to provide for setback and yard
