(35) Art. 89B, §224. This section authorized;
the State Roads Commission to acquire the bridge across
the Potomac River at Williamsport and to charge tolls to
pay for the acquisition. The bridge has been acquired,
and the Administration has advised the Commission that it
has no intention of charging tells for its use. The
provisions of §224, therefore, are no longer necessary
and the section is obsolete.

The following provisions of present Art. 89B have
been transferred to other titles in this article or
elsewhere in the Code, as noted:
(1) Art. 89B, §22A. This section, which
permits the use of funds from the State Retirement
Systems for acquisition of land for transportation
projects, new appears as §2-104 of this article.
(2) Art. 89B, §64A. This section, which
deals with cattle crossing signs, now appears as §21—708
of this article.
(3) Art. 89B, §66. This section, which deals
with the power of the Administration to regulate the use
of highways by certain types of vehicles that could
damage the highways, now appears as §24-203 of this
article.
(4) Art. 89B, §66A. This section, which
authorizes the Administration to designate certain
highways as "emergency snow routes" and specifies the
conditions of use of these highways, now appears as
§21-1119 of this article.
(5) Art. 89B, §67. This section, which
prohibits the operation of any vehicle that could damage
a highway, now appears as §24—202 of this article.
(6) Art. 89B, §71A. This section, which
authorizes the designation of school speed zones, now
appears as §21—803.1 of this article.
(7) Art. 89B, §§ 100 and 102. These
sections, which relate to the authority of the
Administration to regulate the weight and speed of
vehicles over bridges, have been incorporated in §24—206
of this article.
(8) Art. 89B, §211G-1. This section, which
