A House Joint Resolution concerning
Joint Personnel Policy Committee
FOR the purpose of requesting the General Assembly to
create a Joint Personnel Policy Committee to assume
duties to include, but not be limited, to those
duties formerly assigned to the Joint Committee on
the Personnel Management Study.
WHEREAS, The Joint Committee on the Personnel
Management Study was created to supervise the
implementation of a consultant's recommendations for
improvements in the Department of Personnel; and
WHEREAS, The Joint Committee on the Personnel
Management Study has been requested to conduct an
analysis of Statewide Compensation Practices; and
WHEREAS, The Joint Committee on the Personnel
Management Study has been requested to conduct interim
studies of many pieces of personnel-related legislation;
and
WHEREAS, Neither the implementation of the
consultant's recommendations nor the study of Statewide
Compensation Practices has been completed; and
