Ch. 13

LAWS OF MARYLAND
the "chairman of the State Roads Commission"
to exercise all powers of the Commission
except those vested in the regional members of
the Commission, is deleted as superfluous in
light of §8-202(b)(2)(i) of this subtitle
granting the same qualified authority to the
Administrator. See §8-211 of this subtitle,
which provides that the Administrator is the
Commission Chairman; see, also, §2-205 of this
article and its revisor's note. As to the referenced authority of the
Secretary, generally, see Title 2, Subtitle 1

this article. As to the authority of the Maryland

article. Its jurisdiction extends to highway

89B, §7 (a) - except for the "catchall" clause

subsection (i) of this section. The present requirement that the powers and

of the Secretary or the Maryland
Transportation Authority is deleted as
