          This Indenture made this 28.th day of February in the year of our
       Lord Seventeen hundred and Eighty six  Between William Adams of Somerset County
       in Maryland Gentleman of the one part and Thomas Brooke Hodgkin of the City of Annapolis
       Gentleman of the other part  Witnesseth that the said William Adams for and in consideration
       of the yearly Rents and covenants herein after reserved and contained by and on the
       part and behalf of the said Thomas Brooke Hodgkin his Heirs Executors Administrators
       and Assigns to be kept and performed Hath demised Leased and to Farm let and by
       these presents Doth Demise Lease and to Farm let unto the said Thomas Brooke Hodgkin
       his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns all those two Acres or Lots of Ground
       situate and being in the said City and numbered in the Plot thereof fifty two and fifty
       three reference being had to the same Plot may more fully appear together with the
       Brick dwelling House on one of the said Lots already erected and built To have
       and To hold the two Lots of Ground aforesaid and every part and parcel thereof
       and the said dwelling House thereon erected unto the said Thomas Brooke Hodgkin
       his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns the yearly Rent of Forty Pounds
       Years to commence from the twentieth day of April next ensuing the date of these
       presents and fully to be compleat and ended Yielding and paying therefor yearly
       and every year during the Demise aforesaid unto him the said William Adams
       his heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns the yearly Rent of Forty Pounds
       Current Money in Spanish Milled dollars at Seven Shillings and six pence each
       and the said Thomas Brooke Hodgkin for himself his Heirs Executors Administrators
       and Assigns doth hereby covenant to and with the said William Adams his Heirs
       Executors Administrators and Assigns that he the said Thomas Brooke Hodgkin his
       heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns shall well and truly pay or cause to be
       paid unto him the said William Adams his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns
       the Rent aforesaid yearly and every year during the Term aforesaid and the said
       Thomas Brooke Hodgkin for himself his Executors Administrators and Assigns doth
       further covenant to and with the said William Adams his heirs Executors Administrators
       and Assigns that if the said yearly rent of Forty pounds Current Money or
       any part thereof be behind or unpaid in part or in the whole by the space of six Months
       after payment shall be lawfully demanded that then and from thence fourth it
       shall and may be Lawfull to and for the said William Adams his Heirs Executors
       Administrators or Assigns or any of them into the demised premises to enter and
       the same to hold repossess and enjoy again as his or their first or former Estate any thing
       herein contained to the contrary Notwithstanding  And the said Thomas Brooke Hodgkin
