       lying in the County aforesaid with the Buildings and Improvements on the Same and each
       of them and all Benefits and advantages to the Same and Each of them belonging
       or in any wise appurtaining and ^on^ the right title and Interest of the State of Maryland
       In the Said Forge tracts and parcels of Land and every of them with their and Each
       of their Appurtenances as well in Law as in Equity and all the following Negroes
       To wit George Pompey Alexander Marlbro Hammond Dick Peter Hazard Ben
       Jacob Joseph Craufurd Phebe James Joseph Harry Eleanor Benjamin Samuel
       Toney William Harriet Sarah London Rose Mark Hagar Nancy Thomas
       Prince Rachel & Seipio Two Ordinary Teams Consisting of Two horses Each Two Old
       Coal Waggons Two Steers forty Sheep Two Old ordinary carts and Timber Carriage
       One Ox Cart six Old wheel barrows Two Sows one Shoat and three pigs one Cow
       Two Small Horses Houshold furniture and Black Smiths Tools and all the
       right Title and Interest of the State of Maryland to the Same Each and every of
       them  To have and To hold the Said forge Tracts and parcels of Land Negroes Stock
       and Other goods and Chattels before expressed and Premises with the appurtenances
       to the Same & Each of them belonging or in any wise Appurtaining to him the said
       Thomas Russel his heirs and assigns forever to the Only use and Behoof of the Said
       Thomas Russell his heirs and Assigns forever and to no Other use intent or Purpose
       Whatever  And Whereas it is provided by the Said recited act That if the valuation
       made by the Said Alexander Job Thomas May and Stephen Hyland should exceed
       the Share of the Said Thomas Russel That in Such Case the Said Thomas Russel
       should account for the Surplus to the State of Maryland  Wherefore the Said
       Thomas Russel for himself his heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns doth
       Covenant and agree to and with the said Nathaniel Ramsey and Clement
       Hollyday their Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns that in Case it shall
       hereafter appear that the valuation aforesaid So as aforesaid made doth exceed
       the Share and Proportion of the Said Thomas Russel of the Property of the
       Said Company denominated & distinguished by the Appellation of the Principio
       Company he the Said Thomas Russel his heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns
       will account with and be responsible for Such Surplus to the State of Maryland
                In Testimony whereof the Parties to these presents have hereto Set
       their hands and Seals the day and Year first Above written
