       covenants and agrees with the said Allen Quynn that in case the said Allen Quynn
       shall advance any further sum or sums of money for the said Thomas Beard the said Tract
       of Land and Negroes above mentioned shall stand as security for the payment thereof
       And the said Thomas Beard for himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators doth
       further covenant grant and agree to and with the said Allen Quynn his Heirs Executors
       Administrators and assigns that in case it shall so happen that the said sums of money
       herein before mentioned with the lawful Interest which shall accrue thereon shall not
       be paid and satisfied on the first day of December in the year one thousand seven
       hundred and eighty seven it shall and may be lawful for the said Allen Quynn his
       Heirs Executors Administrators or assigns and they are hereby respectively authorised
       and empowered to sell the said Land and Negroes at public sale or such part thereof
       as may be sufficient and Adequate to the discharge and satisfaction of the said sums
       of Money and Interest thereon due and to make a good and valid Deed and Conveyance
       for the same to the purchaser who shall have a full free absolute and indefeazible Estate
       in the same not subject to redemption or ay condition or Limetation whatever
               In Witness whereof the parties to these presents have hereunto set their hands and
       seales this twentieth day of August in the year first aforesaid

       and Negroes therein mentioned & described to be the property of the within named Allen
       Quynn upon the Conditions and Limitations therein mentioned according to the true
       Intention thereof and the act of Assembly in such case made & provided

                   This Indenture made the fourth day of May in the Year of our Lord
       One thousand seven hundred and eighty five  Between Edward Dorsey son of
       John of Baltimore County Gentleman of the one part and John Eager Howard of
       the same County Gentleman of the other part  Witnesseth that the said Edward Dorsey
       Son of John for and in consideration of the sum of Three thousand two hundred and
       thirty eight pounds current money to him in hand paid by the said John Eager
       Howard the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Hath granted Bargained
       sold aliened enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents doth grant Bargain sell
       alien enfeoff and confirm unto the said John Eager Howard his Heirs and Assigns
       All that Tract or parcel of Land called the Mistake lying in Ann Arundel County
       on the west side of the main Falls of Patapsco River Beginning at a Bounded white oak
       being the beginning Tree of a Parcel of Land called Planters Ridge originally surveyed
       for a certain Thomas Browne and running thence South seventy five degrees West Two
       hundred and twenty four perches thence North six Degrees West Two hundred and seventy
