       Ann Arundel County fs.t  On the 17.th Day of December 1784 Came
       Margaret Cummings before us the Subscribers Two of the Justices of the
       Peace for the County aforesaid and Acknowledged the within Instrument
       of Writing to be her Act and Deed and the Land and Premises therein mentioned
       to be the Right and Property of the within named James Kirbey
       his Heirs and Assigns forever According to the Act of Assembly
       In that Case made and Provided

       This Indenture made this fourth day of January one thousand seven
       hundred and Eighty five between Edmund Plowden of S.t Mary's County
       Gentleman of the one part and Philip Key of S.t Marys County Gentleman
       of the other Part  Witnesseth that the said Edmund for and in consideration
       of Two Hundred pounds (the receipt Whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge)
       hath Given Granted Bargained and Sold and by these Presents doth
       Give Grant bargain and sell unto the said Philip Key and his Heirs
       all the said Edmunds Right Title and Interest to and in an Undivided
       Moiety of a Tract of Land called "The Flower of the Forest" containing
       Thirty nine Acres and one half Acre and to and in an undivided
       Moiety of a Tract of Land called "The Wee Bit" containinging seven
       Acres and one half and to and in An Undivided Moiety of a Tract
       of Land called "Cambridge" containing Ninety Six Acres All which Tracts
       of Land he in S.t Marys County a Certain Thomas Bond and the said
       Edmund Plowden being seised in fee thereof as Tenants in Common
       To have and to hold the said Undivided Moieties of the said Tracts
       of Land unto the said Philip Key his Heirs and Assigns forever to the
       only proper use and Behoof of the said Philip Key and his Heirs
       In Witness whereof the said Edmund Plowden has hereunto Set his
       Hand and Affixed his Seal the Day and year above written
       Signed Sealed and Delivered
