       On the back of the Aforegoing Deed was thus Written Viz

       Maryland on the 5.th day of January 1785 Edmund Plowden came before
       the Subscriber one of the Judges of the General Court and Acknowledged
       the Within instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed

       Received of the within named Philip Key the within Mentioned
       consideration as Witness my hand this 18.th day of January 1785

       This Indenture made this Twenty fourth day of Sept.r in the Year of
       Our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty four  Between Coll.o Thomas
       Dorsey of Annarundell County and State of Maryland Farmer of the one
       Part and Joseph Wilkins of the Citty of Annapolis and County and State
       Aforesaid Carpentar and Joiner of the other Part Witnesseth that the said
       Thomas Dorsey for and in Consideration of the Sum of Six hundred Pounds
       Current Money to him the said Thomas Dorsey well and truly Paid the
       Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged Hath given Granted Bargained
       Sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents Doth give
       Grant Bargain Sell Alien enfeoff And Confirm unto him the said Joseph
       Wilkins his Heirs and Assigns forever all that Part or Parcel of a Lot of Ground
       situate Lying and being in the City of Annapolis distinguished In the
       said City by the Number Seventy five and beginning for the Part now
       Bargained and Sold or intended to be Bargained and Sold at a Post Standing
       In the Line of the State House Circle and Running then in a Direct line
       with the North Gable end Wall of the House Called Carpentars House
       and with the Bailling of the Garden Adjoining thereto across the
       said Lot to Intersect Tabernacle Street and then Running Westerly
       with the said Street Till it Intersects Lawyer Street leading to the State
       House Circle and Running with said Street to the said State House
