       Liquidate and close all open and unsettled accounts standing between him and any other person or Persons
       upon which ^such^ Terms and in such manner as to his said Attorney shall seem fair and reasonable  And Also for
       him ^and^ in his name proceed by Ejectment or by such other Lawfull ways and means as his said Attorney should
       be Advised and shall Judge proper to eject and admove any of his Tenants or any other Person or persons
       for^rom^ the Possession of any of his Messuages Lands Plantations Estates and Premisses or any of them or of his
       Shares or Parts thereof and to recover the Possession thereof as his said Attorney shall see Occasion
       And Generally and finally the said James Gildart doth hereby grant and Delegate to his said Attorney
       his entire and Absolute Discression Power and Authority to the fullest extent in and over all & every his
       Affairs Business and Concerns in Moneys Lands and all other Matters whatsoever in the said Provinces
       of Maryland and Virginia and elsewhere in North America and in the West India Islands wherein
       he is or shall be connected interested or affected in any wise and the whole Government Direction and Ordering
       thereof and doth hereby fully empower and Authorize his said Attorney to act in manage negotiate and
       Transact the same for him according to the utmost of his Skill and Judgment and to do execute perform
       and accomplish all other Acts Deeds matters and things whatsoever necessary and expedient to be
       done for him and on his Behalf in and about the Premisses and for the ends and purposes aforesaid or in
       any wise concerning or relative thereto in as full ample extensive beneficial and sufficient manner to
       all Intents and purposes whatsoever as he the said James Gildart could or might do execute and
       manage the same in his own proper person reposing the most implisit Confidence in his Direcscretion
       and Intigrity and he doth hereby further Authorize and empower his said Attorney if need be to
       appoint one or more substitute or substitutes and or him for the more Effectual execution or management
       of the Premises and at Pleasure to revoke and to make and appoint others in his or their Stead
       from time to time as he shall find it necessary and the said James Gildart doth hereby agree to
       ratify confirm and allow all and every the legal Acts Doings Transactions and mannagement of
       his said Attorney and his Substitute or Substitutes in and about the Premises and for the Purposes
       aforesaid under and by Virtue of the Powers and Authoritys hereby granted and shall and will
       sufficiently indemnify and bear harmless him and his Lands and Tenements goods and Chattels
       of from and against all suits Troubles Costs Charges Damages and expences whatsoever
       which he shall suffer bear pay sustain or be put unto for or by reason thereof or in the Legal
       execution of these presents and that he shall be answerable or accountable for the Loss of any
       monies or other Effects which he may receive for him unless occasoned by or thro his wilfull
       Neglect or Default and that he shall be allowed to retain and reimburse himself thereout
       all such Costs and Expences as he shall necessarily incur in the execution of these presents
       and lastly the said James Gildart doth hereby revoke and make Void all and every Power
       and Powers of Attorney by him alone and by him Jointly with any other or others at any time
       or times heretofore granted or given to any Person or Persons Whatsoever  In Witness whereof
       the said James Gildart hath hereunto set and affixed his hand and Seal this tenth Day of July
       on the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty three
       On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Indorsed (Viz.t)         James   (Seal)   Gildart
       Sealed and Delivered being first Duly Stamped
       in the presence of   Hen Brown   Edw.d Newsham
