       Executors Administrators or Assigns shall pay to the said John Kelly his Heirs Executors or Administrators
       and the said Thomas Usher for himself his Heirs and Assigns Doth hereby Covenant and agree
       to an with the said John Kelly his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns That provided the
       said John Kelly his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns shall well and truly pay to the
       said Thomas Usher his Executors Administrators or Assigns the aforesaid sum of Money together
       with all Interest thereon at any time before the said tenth Day of April aforesaid then this Present
       Deed and every Clause and Covenant herein Contained shall Cease and be Void to all Intents
       and Purposes whatsoever  And the said John Kelly for himself his Heirs Executors and
       Administrators Doth hereby Covenant promise and Grant to and with the said Thomas Usher
       his Heirs and Assigns That he the said Thomas Usher his Heirs and Assigns in Case of the Default
       of payment of the aforesaid Sum of Money and Interest as aforesaid at the time limited as aforesaid
       shall and hereby hath full Power in and Concerning the premisses and that he the said John
       Kelly his Heirs and Assigns and all and every other Person or Persons Claiming the said Lands
       and Premises under him or them shall and will in Case the said Lands and Premises shall be sold
       as aforesaid make and execute or Cause to be made and Executed all and every Act or Acts Deed or Deeds
       to the Person or Persons purchasing and buying the same or any Part thereof for the further
       Confirmation of his or their Right and Title therein  In Witness whereof the Parties aforesaid
       have hereunto interchangeably set their hands and seals the day and year first above written
          Signed Sealed and Delivered                                                                     John Kelly   (Seal)
          in the presence of us   the Words Baltimore Town late of                           Thomas Usher   (Seal)
          Geo Gould Presbury   and the words formerly Frederick County
          Lyde Goodwin                        being first Interlined

           At the foot and on the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written (Viz.t)

          Received the day and year first above Mentioned of and from the above named Thomas Usher
       the sum of five Shillings Current Money the Consideration Money in the above Deed mentioned
       Witness                                                                                                         John Kelly
                      Geo Gould Presbury

          Baltimore County  On the Twentyeth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand seven
       hundred and Eighty four Came before us the subscribers to of the Justices of the Peace of Baltimore
       County the above named John Kelley and Thomas Usher and acknowledged the above Instrument of
       Writing to be there Act and Deed according to the True Intent and Meaning thereof and an Act of
       Assembly in such Case Made and Provided and at the same time Mary Ann Kelly wife of the said
       John Kelly and being by us Privately examined out of the hearing of her said Husband gave up all
       her right of Dower to the above Land and Premisses to be the right of the said Thomas Usher his
       Heirs and Assigns for ever and that she did the same of her own free Will and Voluntary Concent
       Without any Coertion of her said Husband nor ^for^ fear of his Displeasure

                      I hereby Certify that George Gould.s Presbury and Lyde Goodwin Gentlemen before
       Whom the above acknowledgment was taken and who have thereto subscribed their names were at

       all Certificates by them given as such due faith and Credit is and ought to be given as well in
                                                                                                                                  Court
